22 Years In The Making

Please join us to celebrate the opening of our first exhibition in our Richmond showroom, 22 Years In The Making.

22 Years In The Making is a group exhibition of 17 artists, that celebrates the longevity of the James Street Gallery (established in 1997, previously known as Karingallery).

The pieces provide an insight into the incredible range of work produced by artists who have worked at the James Street Gallery, which provides a supported studio and gallery for adults with disabilities. These artists are partnered with creative practitioners, who offer guidance and assistance. The gallery is celebrated for creating an environment where ‘practicing artist give participants the autonomy to choose their projects and work independently, offering support skills and development where appropriate.’

This exhibition features the work of Damian Goralski, Sarah Guilfoil, Noel Gwosdezki, Rita Halabarec, Lewis Heathcote, Neil Higgins, David Learmonth, Roise Leigh, Marcus Lovell, Joel Martinez, Jabyn Parr, Sherri Russell, Gayle Sherlock, Susan Simpson, John Stewart, Morgan Tasic, and James Ward. From small scale sketches to larger paintings and sculptures.

All welcome, refreshments provided.
